Billion Pixels of Kashgar, Xinjiang
Now you are standing in Kashi, the most characteristic city in Xinjiang. Under your feet lie rows of dusty grey houses. With a history of 2,600 years, Kashi Ancient City comes as the largest earth construction cluster in the world with more than 300 interwoven roads, which is the only well-preserved labyrinth urban block in China. When you walk on the street of the ancient city, you’ll see a different picture. Local minority residents like to plant various flowers and fruit trees by doorway, roadside and in gardens, forming an exuberant scene. And when you smell the aroma of roasted mutton, roasted fish and roasted bun, you’ll definitely lick your lips. Zoom in. Can you find the band playing on the roof of Id Kah Mosque? I ever went to Xinjiang for photography. Quite fortunately, the Uighur Ramadan just ended and the Ruzi Festival was being held. If I arrived there a few days in advance, I probably had no place to eat, as all restaurants were closed during the Ramadan. Now that you’ve seen so many pictures, please share this picture with your friends. This is very important for my continuing creation! I also took large-pixel pictures of Urumchi, Xinjiang.
