Billion Pixels of Sinuiju, North Korea
http://pf.bigpixel.cn/en-US/pano/6844841882342658048.html Hello everyone. Across the river lies Sinuiju, North Korea. As the fourth largest city in North Korea, it accounts for 80% of commodity shipment between China and North Korea. To your left you can find a broken bridge, the Yalu River Broken Bridge, which witnessed the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. During the war, the U.S. army dispatched more than 100 B29 bombers to bomb the bridge with the intention of preventing the help of the Chinese Volunteer Army, resulting in the destruction of the bridge. Next to it you can find the newly built Sino-Korean Friendship Bridge which serves as the most significant trade corridor. Zoom in, and we can see some young North Koreans playing volleyball and a few soldiers on patrol by the river. In the distance, the wheat fields look golden yellow where people are busy reaping the grain. Some are pulling up materials to build a house. Many people gather by the farmland which seems to be a market. There are a lot of buildings in Sinuiju, but you’ll find that many buildings are not yet installed with glass if you zoom in. I’m looking for houses with air conditioners. Have you found any? I was very nervous just after taking this picture
